How Relaya works
The heart of Relaya is the path from a raw message to something you can act on — kept faithful and explainable at every step. You don’t have to think about this to use Relaya, but it helps to know what’s happening under the hood.
From conversations to memory
Section titled “From conversations to memory”When you connect a mailbox or calendar, Relaya reads each message and meeting and links it to the right account and people (by email address and company domain). It then extracts memory — structured facts such as a commitment, an objection, a buying signal, a decision timeline, or a competitor mention.
Every fact Relaya remembers carries:
- The evidence — the exact quote, and the message it came from.
- Whether it was said or inferred — a fact stated directly is marked differently from a hypothesis Relaya drew.
- A confidence level.
Because each fact is tied to a real quote, you can see it, check it, and correct it — nothing is taken on faith.
You stay in control of the record
Section titled “You stay in control of the record”Memory isn’t a black box. You can confirm, reject, or edit anything Relaya remembers, and your edit takes precedence while the history is preserved. Where an identity is uncertain, Relaya proposes it and a person decides what becomes a record — it won’t quietly invent accounts or contacts.
Explainable deal health
Section titled “Explainable deal health”Relaya turns memory and activity into signals — a competitor is present, a request went unanswered, a next step has stalled — and combines them into a deal-health score from 0 to 100.
The score is never just a number. Open a deal and you’ll see the factors behind it, a plain-language explanation, and the evidence for each signal. It’s a score you can defend in a forecast review. From there, Relaya suggests the next best actions and surfaces the deals most in need of attention in Today.
Why grounding matters
Section titled “Why grounding matters”An AI CRM that invents context is worse than no CRM. Relaya’s design goal is the opposite: if it can’t cite the evidence, it doesn’t claim the fact — and where evidence is thin, it says so rather than filling the gap.
Anything Relaya might do on your behalf — like sending a follow-up — always waits for your approval. See Approvals.
